\u2019A small boy\u2019s escape to the West\u2019 is a documentary about an Estonian Taavi Kaaman,
\nwhose childhood was tragically interrupted when he had to flee with his parents to a foreign
\ncountry in the midst of war. The foreign country became his home, but he never forgot his
\nroots.<\/p>\n

Life in Sweden brought challenges, but also new opportunities.<\/p>\n

Music, memories and Estonianism kept alive the connections with the lost homeland.
\nCome and watch the story of a man whose life conceals the fate of an entire generation.
\nAfter the film, there will be a discussion and mini-concert.<\/p>\n

Present at the film: Taavi Kaaman, the main character, documentary film director,
\ncameraman Aili Suiste Rundin<\/a> and Angelica Suiste<\/a>. Discussion moderated by ESTO 2025<\/a>
\nSirle S\u00f6\u00f6t<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After the film, Taavi Kaaman<\/a> will perform a few songs on guitar, including his own
\ncompositions and Estonian folk tunes. Rickard Malmsten<\/a> will accompany on bass guitar.<\/p>\n
