The Global Estonian Diaspora Networking Day is a great opportunity for members of diaspora organisations and representatives of Estonian communities around the world to connect, share their successes and challenges, and discuss what is needed to support sustainability and further development.

The main aim of the day is to bring together Estonians from different countries who are working in similar fields, so that they can get to know each other, exchange experiences, and draw inspiration from each other.

The Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently updating the Global Estonian Action Plan (2026 – 2029) to better serve the actual needs of Estonian communities abroad. Your feedback and ideas are essential to this process to ensure that the Action Plan reflects the expectations and lifetyle of Estonians abroad.

The day’s program includes thematic workshops aimed at fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and information gathering for long-term development of the diaspora.

In addition to the workshops listed below, select Estonian artists and writers will display and sell their works. The program will also include a mini-expo with representation from key institutions, organisations, and enterprises.

The event will be held in Estonian but simultaneous interpreting into English will be available. Workshop participants are welcome to participate in either, and/or both languages.

Sessions and workshops marked with an asterisk (*) will be accessible virtually.
When registering, please select two (2) networking groups in which you would like to participate in order of preference.
