The highlight of the program for the Global Estonian Festival in Narva will be the ESTO Song Festival, where folk dancers and singers from Ida-Virumaa share the stage with Estonians from abroad and a Swedish-style folk celebration.

ESTO Song Festival conductors are Hirvo Surva and Kirill Gorjušin, both from Ida-Virumaa, along with lifelong choir director Jaan Seim from Stockholm, who currently leads a mixed and women’s choir there. “The three of them put together the repertoire and also travel to Canada, America, and elsewhere to prepare choirs,” said Sirle Sööt, the organizer of ESTO 2025 and the chairperson of the Swedish Estonian Association.
